The Mitchell Elementary Library seeks to create a 21st century environment that promotes learning for all students by providing equitable access to information, teaching information literacy skills, and encouraging lifelong learning. The library strives to be a center of collaborative learning that produces creative students who have an appreciation of literature, critical thinking skills, and a respect for others and self.
ABOUT MS. HARDER

Hey guys! I'm Ms. Harder. This is my second year as the librarian at Mitchell Elementary & High School. I absolutely love it!

I was born & raised in Gering, Nebraska. I graduated in 2016 from Chadron State College with my Elementary Education degree and I am currently working towards my Masters in Instructional Technology through UNK.

LISTENING EXPECTATIONS

REAL OR FAKE NEWS ?! ?!
4th & 5th grade used their fake news detective skills and had to figure out which news articles were real or fake. Out of 4 classes only 3 groups got them all right. It was tricky!
